What We Offer: <p>Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Tech I</p><p>Location: Novant Health - Hilton Head Heart Okatie </p><p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (No weekends or holidays)</p><p> </p><p> The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. </p> What We're Looking For: <ul><li> <strong> Education </strong> : High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required. </li><li> <strong> Experience </strong> : Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, required </li><li> <strong> Licensure/Certification: </strong> Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB - RT(N) or CNMT, required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required. Applicable state license, required. </li><li> <strong> Additional Skills (required): </strong> Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills; capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms; working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment, able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served; has ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his / her age-specific needs. </li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?56tSEfrY6xaxxIdDNcyzF6k66Phfsylvi" width="0" height="0" />
