As an RN in Cardiovascular Critical Care, you will gain diverse and challenging experiences caring for a cardiac medical and surgical critical care population. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where collaboration and advanced clinical skills are key.</p><p></p><p><b>What You'll Do:</b></p><ul><li>Provide expert care for <b>high-acuity cardiac patients</b>, including those requiring advanced therapies.</li><li>Collaborate with <b>multidisciplinary teams</b>, including cardiologists, medical residents, cardiac surgeons, and physician assistants.</li><li>Participate in <b>daily patient-focused rounds</b> to ensure optimal outcomes.</li><li>Manage complex interventions such as:<ul><li>Titration of multiple vasoactive medications</li><li>Invasive hemodynamic monitoring</li><li>Ventilator management and rapid weaning</li><li>Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)</li><li>Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)</li><li>Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs)</li><li>Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) patients</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><b>For the <u> FOURTH </u>consecutive time, our Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex unit has earned a gold-level Beacon Award from the AACN.
