Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.<p></p> <b>Position Details:</b> <p></p><p>The Medical Surgical unit, also known as Med-Surg, is a specialty unit that makes up the foundation of nursing. The Medical Surgical unit at Mercy Pittsburg is a 32-bed unit that manages acute medical surgical patients with a wide range of diagnoses and care needs. Functionally, this unit houses and cares for patients who are preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions.
