<p> <strong>Medical Director Services PC </strong>is looking to hire a<strong> Pain Management and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) </strong>to service a skilled nursing facility in<strong> Fulton County, GA.</strong> </p><p> <strong><u>New Grads Welcome </u></strong> </p><p> <strong><u>Excellent salary will be offered, commensurate with experience.</u></strong> </p><p> <strong>Provider Duties:</strong> </p><ul><li><p> Serve as the primary care provider specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation for long and short-term residents, focusing on musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. </p></li><li><p> Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical exams, to evaluate patients' functional status, mobility, pain levels, and rehabilitation needs. </p></li><li><p> Collaborate closely with the medical attending/physiatrist, nursing home staff, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans. </p></li><li><p> Build strong relationships with residents and their families, educating them about rehabilitation options, pain management strategies, and functional recovery goals. </p></li><li><p> Develop evidence-based treatment plans that align with patients' needs, desires, and quality of life considerations, with an emphasis on rehabilitation and functional improvement. </p></li><li><p> Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements while staying informed about new legislation affecting the practice of physiatry. </p></li><li><p> Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies. </p></li><li><p> Create a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all procedures, rules, and regulations while maintaining a respectful, professional, and culturally sensitive approach to patient care. </p></li><li><p> Ensure timely and efficient documentation, charting, and administration of care in accordance with the highest standards of practice. </p></li></ul><p> <strong>Requirements:</strong> </p><ul><li><p> Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program, with a focus in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (preferred). </p></li><li><p> Current NP/PA license in Georgia. </p></li><li><p> Board Certification (or eligibility) in Physiatry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or a related field. </p></li><li><p> Strong clinical skills, especially in assessing, diagnosing, and treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. </p></li><li><p> Expertise in pain management, rehabilitation, and functional improvement for patients in skilled nursing facilities. </p></li><li><p> Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. </p></li><li><p> Excellent bedside manner, communication, and patient education skills. </p></li></ul><p> Extensive training will be offered </p><p> </p><p> We will consider applicants that have Hospital setting experience </p><p> <strong>Location:</strong> <br> Fulton County, GA </p><p> <strong>About Us:</strong> <br> Medical Director Services was founded in 2016 when SNFs (Skilled Nursing Facilities) began focusing on value-based care while treating residents with higher acuity.
