Here at McMahon's Best-One, we are committed to our customers, the services we provide, our local community and to our fantastic employees.</p><p><br/></p><p>Currently, we are looking for a <strong>Retail Store Manager</strong> to join our family at our<strong> Lima, Ohio</strong> location. Our Retail Store Managers directly supervise and coordinate all employees in the retail store; perform management functions such as purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel work. Other duties include:</p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel</li><li>Monitor work levels and review performance</li><li>Recommend personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, discharges, and discipline.</li><li>Conduct or arrange for employee training</li><li>Compile personnel records, such as time and production records, test results, etc. as required.</li><li>Greet customers and ascertain customer needs/desires</li><li>Explain and obtain approval from customers for unexpected repairs</li><li>Answer telephones</li><li>Look up items on computer</li><li>Enter orders</li><li>Prepare estimates</li><li>Compute sales prices, total purchases, and process payments</li><li>Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment, exchanges, and returns, and security practices</li><li>Inventory and requisition materials and supplies</li><li>Meet with vendors and suppliers regarding service products</li><li>Oversee completion of work, using equipment such as hand tools or gauges to verify compliance with standards</li></ul><p><strong>Other</strong></p><ul><li>Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or safety violations</li><li>Investigate accidents/injuries and prepare reports of findings.</li><li>Maintain hazmat book per OSHA</li><li>Prepare and administer department budget, coordinate purchases</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Position Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures</li><li>Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures</li><li>Ability to allocate authority and/or task responsibility to appropriate people.</li><li>Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and be responsible for making decisions</li><li>Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.</li></ul><p><strong>We offer a full benefits package including; medical, dental, vision, 401K Match, paid time off and more!</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>When you join our team, you become part of the McMahon family and the fun fast paced environment we provide.</p><p><br/></p> Requirements: <p><strong>Physical Demands / Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Lifting: Frequent lifting over 20 pounds from ground to chest high.</li><li>Squatting, bending, and twisting: occasional</li><li>Standing for extended periods of time.</li><li>Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception)</li><li>Sense of sound (Ringing telephones, alarms, horns and motorized equipment)</li><li>PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, footwear)</li><li>Environment: Work in environment that is not climate controlled.
