The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records.<p></p><p><b>How you grow, learn and thrive matters here.</b><br />• Educational and career development options, including tuition and certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunities<br />• Staff Safety (a wearable badge that allows nurses to quickly and discreetly call for help when safety is a concern)<br />• Differentials for night/weekend shifts, higher education, certifications and various lead roles (for eligible positions)<br />• Malpractice liability insurance<br />• Loan forgiveness through the New Mexico Higher Education Department <br />• EPIC electronic charting system</p> Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.90 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America) <p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b>Sign on</b> and<b> relocation bonuses </b>available for qualified candidates<b>.</b></p><ul><li>Instructs patients regarding magnetic resonance imaging procedures; prepares, positions, and manipulates patients to ensure appropriate placement for imaging.</li><li>Select appropriate imaging techniques, and calibrate console and peripheral hardware, as required.</li><li>Obtains images, produces film records and backups from desk to storage media, and transfers for desk to workstation.</li><li>Inspects for quality and completeness of exam.</li><li>Performs quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and laser camera.</li><li>Performs physical inventories and maintains clinical supplies.</li><li>Provides instruction and guidance in magnetic resonance imaging procedures and equipment/facilities usage to staff and/or students in training.</li><li>Ensures adherence to established PHS/PMG and department policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, safety standards, HIPAA, and compliance regulations.</li><li>May assist in research and/or clinical subject scheduling.</li><li>Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in the field of expertise.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li> High School Diploma or GED required. </li><li> Associate Degree preferred. </li><li><b> Magnetic Resonance Imaging </b> MRT (New Mexico licensure) required. </li><li> American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T. <b>(MR) (ARRT) </b> </li><li> Or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist ARMRIT required. </li><li> BLS Certification is required at the time of hire. </li><li> Registered Technologist Trainees/Apprentices: </li><li> PMRT (Provisional NM licensure) required. </li><li> American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T.
