We are looking for a Senior Project Designer to join our team.</p><p><br/></p><br/><br/><p> </p><p>The Senior Designer-Interiors position will report directly to the Senior Design Director. </p><p>The Senior Designer-Interiors is responsible for delivering high quality design deliverables and functions as a key team member in project development and documentation. This position works closely with architects and designers to design interior environments for a variety of clients.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS</strong></p><p> Lead the planning of design concepts of interior and exterior environments in collaboration with the project team through all project phases.</p><p> Develop master design plans and create original design solutions consistent with client requirements including three dimensional concepts, material palette development, and furniture specifications.</p><p> Develop test fits- be able to prepare a test fit and critique the final outcome. </p><p> Participate in project program development with Client and workplace strategy team.</p><p> Collaborate with project architects to create buildable design concepts and lead teams on design initiatives.</p><p> Implementation of design including responding to RFIs, punch lists and approval of submittals during documentation and construction administration project phases.</p><p> Create presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts utilizing a variety of media (both 2D & 3D).</p><p> Responsible for all furniture specifications including evaluation of different manufacturers and manufacturer and dealer interviews and selections.</p><p> Handle request for proposals and leveling of bids, with oversight from Design directors.</p><p> Researches and stays current with industry trends to explore and execute new techniques.</p><p> Collaborate with creative teams (3d, 2d and digital) on new innovations and creative concepts.</p><p> Assist with marketing efforts as needed when seeking new projects.</p><p> Perform other related duties as required. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION</strong></p><p> Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture; or, equivalent combination of education and experience, master's degree preferred.</p><p> 7-10 years of professional experience in commercial interiors required.</p><p> IIDA or NCIDQ and LEED Certification preferred.</p><p> Extensive experience in furniture and finishes selection, specification, procurement and leveling of bids.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>CORE COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS </strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Ability to meet strict deadlines and work within specified budgets.</li><li>Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm and with clients and other key constituents.</li><li>Ability to put together a cohesive, comprehensive design presentation that shows innovation and creative thinking.</li><li>Problem solving skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Oral presentation skills.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>CPG offers a competitive salary and benefits package including PTO, health, life and LTD insurance, and profit sharing/401k plan.</p><p><br/></p><p>We are an equal opportunity employer; all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to: race; color; religion; sex; age; ancestry; national origin; sexual orientation; physical or mental disability; veteran's status; medical condition; genetic information; marital status; gender identity, pregnancy, or citizenship or service in the uniformed services.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><br><br><p>PI254f4cd1-</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?XYmMuhItACbD8iKEpKCtP8yMpDhkhXYJx" width="0" height="0" />
