<p> <strong>Richmond Center is hiring a Recreation Therapist (CTRS) in Staten Island, NY.</strong> </p> <p> We are seeking a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) to join our dynamic team in the Neuro Behavioral Unit. This role is ideal for a compassionate, creative professional who is passionate about enhancing quality of life through structured and meaningful recreational programming. </p> <p> <strong>DUTIES:</strong> </p> <ul> <li> Develop and implement group and individual recreational activities tailored to residents' needs, interests, and cognitive levels </li> <li> Facilitate leisure, educational, theme-based, and cognitively stimulating activities </li> <li> Assess and evaluate residents' participation and progress </li> <li> Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Department of Health regulations </li> <li> Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident goals </li> <li> Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive therapeutic environment </li> <li> Knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC) is a plus </li> </ul> <p> <strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong> </p> <ul> <li> Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) </li> <li> Experience working with behavioral health or neuro populations preferred </li> <li> Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li> <li> Creativity, flexibility, and ability to motivate residents </li> <li> Must be organized, detail-oriented, and a team player </li> </ul> <p> <strong>About us:</strong> </p> <p> <strong>Richmond Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare</strong> is a 372-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the borough of Staten Island.
