Job Description
<p>Install, maintain and repair machinery and equipment in a safe and productive manner. Operate hand, machine and power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and welding and torch equipment.</p><p><br/></p><p>1. Assemble and install equipment, using hand and power tools.</p><p>2. Align equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs.</p><p>3. Assemble machines, and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools or power tools.</p><p>4. Bolt parts, such as side and deck plates, jaw plates, and journals to basic assembly.</p><p>5. Insert shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.</p><p>6. Position and erect equipment using blueprints and schematic drawings per pre-determine work procedures.</p><p>7. Attach moving parts and subassemblies with hand tools and power tools.</p><p>8. Measure, design and build custom fitted components as needed during course of project.</p><br/><br/><p>1. Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.</p><p>2. Repairing Machines or systems using the needed tools</p><p>3. Installation - Installing equipment, machines, wiring or programs to meet specifications.</p><p>4. Troubleshoot - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.</p><p>5. Mathematics - Using mathematics to solve problems.</p><p>6. Critical Thinking - Judgement and Decision Making - Active Listening and Instructing.</p><p>7. Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure machine is working properly.</p><p>8. Able to work at certain heights.</p><p>9.
