Are you handy, dependable, and reliable? We're seeking a motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Claremont, NH. Responsibilities include general repairs, upkeep, and ensuring a safe and functional environment for all of our locations spanning Sullivan and lower Grafton counties. <p><br/></p><p><strong>Responsibilities may include:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor plumbing repairs.</li><li>Maintaining grounds and landscaping (if applicable).</li><li>Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.</li><li>Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of work areas.</li><li>Identifying and reporting maintenance needs or safety hazards.</li><li>Assisting with setting up and breaking down for events as needed.</li><li>Following safety procedures and protocols.</li><li>Other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>A High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.</li><li>Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work independently.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Flexible with scheduling to meet regular and emergency agency needs.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Physical ability to perform required tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs regularly.</li><li>Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation necessary.
