And we know our success starts with our team members - our internal ravings fans. </p><p>We're looking for a Commercial Tire Technician who places an emphasis on creating results for teammates, customers, and the company. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you get: </strong></p><ul><li>Top Pay - the more you know, the more you earn</li><li>Paid holidays & vacations; closed most major holidays</li><li>Health/dental/vision insurance </li><li>401(K)</li><li>Team member discount program</li><li>Continuing education/training</li><li> and being a part of a company that offers a career, not just a job!</li></ul><p><strong>What you will be doing as a Commercial Tire Technician:</strong></p><p>Repair and replace commercial and large equipment tires, perform fleet checks, and perform minor service and repairs on commercial customer vehicles. </p><ul><li>For Tires: remove, install, rotate, balance, and perform flat repairs on commercial and large equipment tires (in shop or at customer location)</li><li>For Retreads: prepare retreads (discuss tread with customer, prepare work order, put in staging area, load in truck), unload treads (unload from truck and stack in warehouse area)</li><li>Equipment: raise and lower vehicles safely with hydraulic or floor jacks, safely operate all shop machinery, operate and maintain diagnostic equipment</li><li>Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks</li><li>Perform all applicable tasks within company's time standards </li></ul> Requirements: <p> </p><p><strong>What boxes you have to check:</strong></p><ul><li>Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.</li><li>Must have a valid driver's license; driving record must meet company's insurance requirements</li><li>Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and ability to lift up to 50+ pounds. </li><li>The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.</li><li>Team Player: Works well as a member of a group.</li><li>Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.</li><li>Must pass a pre-employment background check/drug screen </li><li>Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions</li><li>Customer-Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures</li><li>Detail-Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task</li><li>Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy</li><li>Safety-Conscious - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety</li><li>Schedule Flexibility - Employee must be flexible on scheduled hours realizing that business hours are dictated by customer needs and can run past scheduled ending times or start before scheduled beginning times</li><li>Technical Aptitude - Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information</li><li>Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands / Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting. </li><li>Lifting: frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high</li><li>Repetitive motion </li><li>Sustained Vibrations</li><li>Standing for extended periods of time</li><li>Read ticket and perform work listed; write confirmation and recommendation</li><li>Environment: Work in environment that is not climate controlled.
