And we know our success starts with our team members - our internal ravings fans.<br/>We're looking for a Commercial Tire Technician who places an emphasis on creating results for teammates, customers, and the company.</p><p><br/><strong>What you get:</strong></p><ul><li>Top Pay</li><li>Paid holidays & vacations; closed most major holidays</li><li>Home on Sundays</li><li>Health/dental/vision</li><li>401-K Matching</li><li>Team member discount program</li><li>Continuing education/training</li><li>Uniform & Shoe Program</li><li> and being a part of a company that offers a career, not just a job!</li></ul><p><strong>What you will be doing as a Commercial Tire Technician:</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>For tires (functions performed per TIA Commercial guidelines):</p><ul><li>Remove, install, rotate, balance, and perform flat repairs on commercial and large equipment tires (in shop or at customer location)</li><li>Safely separate and reassemble tires onto wheels, using specialized equipment</li><li>Inspect casings for defects</li><li>Locate and seal tire punctures (patch and plug)</li><li>Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding or sandblasting</li></ul><p>For retreads:</p><ul><li>Prepare retreads (discuss tread with customer, prepare work order, put in staging area, load on truck)</li><li>Unload retreads (unload from truck and stack in warehouse area)</li></ul><p>For vehicles:</p><ul><li>Perform fleet inspections to assess tire needs and make recommendation to fleets as needed</li></ul><p>Equipment:</p><ul><li>Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks</li><li>Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to: safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks</li><li>Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment</li></ul><p><strong>What boxes you have to check:</strong></p><ul><li>At least 18 years of age</li><li>Valid driver's license required</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Positive attitude and the ability to relate well with other employees and customers</li></ul><p>Employer is an Equal Opportunity & Drug-Free Employer </p> Requirements: <p><br/></p><br><br><p>PIbc0c4fb07dc5-1393</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?Crqt7rtgRxEiSZKUB1%2fLOpAz56grBSerd" width="0" height="0" />
