And we know our success starts with our team members - our internal ravings fans.</p><p>We're looking for a Commercial Tire Technician who places an emphasis on creating results for teammates, customers, and the company. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you get:</strong></p><p> Top Pay</p><p> Paid holidays & vacations; closed most major holidays</p><p> Health/dental/vision</p><p> 401-K Match</p><p> Team member discount program</p><p> Continuing education/training</p><p> Uniform & Shoe Program</p><p> and being a part of a company that offers a career, not just a job!</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you will be doing as a Commercial Tire Technician:</strong></p><p>For tires (functions performed per TIA Commercial guidelines):</p><p> Remove, install, rotate, balance, and perform flat repairs on commercial and large equipment tires (in shop or at customer location)</p><p> Safely separate and reassemble tires onto wheels, using specialized equipment</p><p> Inspect casings for defects</p><p> Locate and seal tire punctures (patch and plug)</p><p> Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding or sandblasting</p><p>For retreads:</p><p> Prepare retreads (discuss tread with customer, prepare work order, put in staging area, load on truck)</p><p> Unload retreads (unload from truck and stack in warehouse area)</p><p>For vehicles:</p><p> Perform fleet inspections to assess tire needs and make recommendations to fleets as needed</p><p>Equipment:</p><p> Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks</p><p> Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to: safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks</p><p> Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What boxes you have to check:</strong> </p><p> At least 18 years of age</p><p> Valid driver's license required</p><p> High school diploma or equivalent</p><p> Positive attitude and the ability to relate well with other employees and customers</p><p><br/></p><p>Employer is an Equal Opportunity & Drug-Free Employer</p> Requirements: <p><br/></p><br><br><p>PI958ac6ebcb9f-4914</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?X00D720HWZ5pyg42ia%2b5J7HHCMmIuRxYg" width="0" height="0" />
