<p> <strong>Triboro Center</strong> is hiring an <strong>Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)</strong> in the <strong>Bronx, NY.</strong> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Support the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) with daily management responsibilities and ensure high-quality resident care.</p></li><li><p>Develop, implement, and monitor<strong> </strong>infection control<strong> </strong>policies and protocols; track and report infection metrics, including preparation of monthly summaries.</p></li><li><p>Conduct weekly Wound/Skin Rounds and oversee proper documentation of resident care and interventions.</p></li><li><p>Assist with compliance initiatives and ensure effective communication across all levels of nursing staff.</p></li><li><p>Interview, hire, and orient new nursing staff; oversee daily staffing processes.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate and direct planning for nursing services to meet the medical and care needs of all residents.</p></li><li><p>Provide education and training for nursing staff, including infection prevention practices.</p></li><li><p>Maintain flexibility with scheduling to address urgent or unpredictable needs; 24-hour on-call availability.</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical records.</p></li><li><p>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and regulatory standards.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Minimum 3 years' experience in long-term care.</p></li><li><p>2 years of management experience (preferred).</p></li><li><p>Current State RN license (required).</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.</p></li><li><p>Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to respond to urgent facility needs.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>About Us:</strong><br>Triboro Center is a 405-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the Bronx.
