Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the Accounting and Finance industry? We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting B2B Collector. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in business to business collections, AR reconciliations, Aging reports, and managing a high volume of accounts. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a knack for effective communication and problem-solving. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting B2B Collector, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing a portfolio of 100-300+ accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records.
2. Conducting business to business collections, communicating effectively with clients to ensure prompt payment while maintaining positive client relationships.
3. Performing AR reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving outstanding issues in a timely manner.
4. Preparing and analyzing Aging reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve collections performance and reduce outstanding balances.
5. Collaborating with the sales and finance teams to resolve billing and credit issues.
6. Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal collection laws and regulations.
7. Continuously improving collections strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Accounting and Finance industry.
2. Proven experience in business to business collections, AR reconciliations, and managing a high volume of accounts.
3. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and maintain positive client relationships.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
6. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
7. A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
