Commercial Service Electrician

aranto Electric is looking for a skilled commercial journeyman electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a licensed journeyman with experience in commercial service work and a strong commitment to safety and excellence. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in mostly commercial, but also residential and light industrial settings, ensuring compliance with all codes and safety regulations. Residential service experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and electrical panels
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and test electrical systems to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards
• Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and wiring schematics
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and other trades to complete projects efficiently
• Perform maintenance and upgrades to existing systems as required
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (e.g., voltmeters, ohmmeters)
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
