Overview:

Sentara Obici is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our diabetes education team. This RN will work as our inpatient diabetes educator.

Hours: Full Time Day Shift - 8 hours a day. Occasional weekends for community events as needed.

A Diabetes Care and Education Specialist RN is a registered nurse with specialized knowledge and expertise in diabetes management and patient education. The role focuses on providing individualized care and support to patients with diabetes to help them effectively manage their condition. .

Education
  • BSN (Required)


Certification/Licensure
  • RN License
  • CDCES Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist - Certifications - Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education (CBDCE) - (Required)


Experience
  • 2 years of experience working with diabetic patients
