Your experience + our training = success! </p></li><li><p><b>Safety:</b> Work in an environment committed to safety and improvement</p></li><li><p><b>Stability:</b> Join an established Midwest company with four generations of family ownership</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you'll do:</b></p> <ul><li><p>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.</p></li><li><p>Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment modifications to ensure safe, reliable operation.</p></li><li><p>Support production by diagnosing startup issues and minimizing downtime.</p></li><li><p>Install, align, calibrate, and verify equipment to meet specifications and quality standards.</p></li><li><p>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.</p></li><li><p>Assist senior technicians with complex repairs and system improvements.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate records, inventories, and work orders in the CMMS.</p></li><li><p>Support technician training initiatives and maintain departmental housekeeping.</p></li><li><p>Install and service facility systems, including HVAC and electrical wiring.</p></li><li><p>Comply with all environmental, quality, and safety procedures.</p></li></ul> <p></p><p><b>What you bring: </b></p><ul><li><p>Experience as an industrial maintenance technician (electrical and/or mechanical).</p></li><li><p>High School Diploma or GED equivalent. (We can help with GEDworks program)</p></li><li><p>Operate/maintain electrical and mechanical testing equipment</p></li><li><p>Experience with welding/torch equipment.</p></li><li><p>Basic mechanical and maintenance aptitude.</p></li><li><p>Operate hand and power tools.</p></li><li><p>Ability to use basic math skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and understand and follow operating and maintenance instructions.</p></li><li><p>Good written and verbal communication.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work well with other employees</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs., and ability to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Nice to have:</b></p><ul><li><p>Technical degree in related field, apprenticeship</p></li><li><p>Journeyman's card</p></li><li><p>Experience in foundry or metals</p></li><li><p>Experience commissioning and troubleshooting Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs and Drives.</p></li><li><p>Proven expertise in AC/DC motor maintenance,</p></li><li><p>Industrial electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulics & pneumatics.</p></li><li><p>Relevant industry certifications preferred.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Charter Casting is formerly Charter Aarrowcast</p> <p></p><p></p><p> We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, along with a 401(k) plan that includes employer matching and profit sharing.
