<p><b>PRN (As Needed)</b></p><p><b>M-F Days</b></p><p><b>Onsite in Employee Health </b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Summary:</b></p>Employee Health Nurse administers pre-employment assessments, administers immunizations and drug screenings and participates in the return to work/work restrictions process.<p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b><br>1. Perform employment health assessment and annual monitoring of employee safety measures.<br><br>2. Administer pre-employment assessments including review of health history and immunizations, drug screening, TB testing.<br><br>3. Review immunization records with employees and administer immunizations as needed. Administer seasonal influenza vaccination program. Review recommendations, side effects, administration, and contraindications of flu shots with nursing and medical volunteers. <br><br>4. Perform random drug screening, TB testing, individual department certifications, return to work/work restrictions, interactive process for ADA, fitness for duty, blood and body fluid exposure follow-up, basic first-aid, basic biometric monitoring, smoking cessation instruction and support with nicotine patches.<br><br>5. Work with physician oversight regarding Return to Work in accordance with employee health process; act in the clinical capacity in support of the Fitness for Duty process.<br><br>6. Chart and maintain employee files in a confidential file.<br><br>7. Other duties as required.</p><p><br><b>Technical Expertise</b><br>1. Experience in employee health, occupational health, or related field is required.<br><br>2. Experience in performing comprehensive health assessments is preferred.<br><br>3. Experience in a clinical hospital setting is required.<br><br>4. Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred.<br><br>5. Experience in healthcare is preferred.<br><br>6. Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word or similar software is required. HRIS is preferred. Benefits Carrier platforms is required.<br><br><b>Education and Experience</b><br>1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN is required.<br><br>2. Certification: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio is required</p><p>3. Years of experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.</p><p>4.
