Provides patient care as needed and documents medical procedures. Apply today and learn how MedStar Health can be your next great career move ! </p> <p> <br /><strong> Primary Duties: </strong></p> <ul><li><p> Performs a wide range of advanced interventional radiology procedures-including peripheral, body, and neurointerventions-while serving as scrub tech and/or circulator, upholding the highest standards of sterile technique. </p></li></ul> <ul><li><p> Utilizes cutting-edge imaging technology and post-processing techniques (e.g., DSA, road mapping, pixel shifting, 3D reconstructions) to optimize diagnostic clarity and support accurate clinical decision-making. </p></li></ul> <ul><li><p> Prepares, positions, and monitors patients throughout procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to radiation safety protocols in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. </p></li></ul> <ul><li><p> Demonstrates cross-functional clinical expertise in physical assessments, IV therapy, EKG monitoring, and vital sign evaluation to support comprehensive patient care. </p></li></ul> <ul><li><p> Maintains operational efficiency by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and participating in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 readiness of the IR team. </p></li></ul> <p> Qualifications: </p> <ul><li><p> Associate's Degree one to three years of formal training in an AMA/JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology (Required). </p></li></ul> <ul><li><p> One to two years of job-related experience in Imaging, including the performance of angiography and other complex radiological examinations (Required). </p></li></ul> <p> Licenses and Certifications: </p> <ul><li><p> Must have passed American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) examination and be ARRT certified. </p></li></ul> This position has a hiring range of : USD $35.68 - USD $64.71 /Hr.<img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?0ahZeUUznsqlscy4fwksg5ftMdRlyslpv" width="0" height="0" />
