JOB DESCRIPTION: <p>The Licensed Nurse Assistant is responsible for specific aspects of direct and indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): taking vital signs, responding to call lights, Electronic Medical Record documentation, personal care, including bathing, mouth care, toileting and skin care.</p><p>Our ideal candidates will be reliable, flexible, compassionate and empathetic. Must have a strong sense of teamwork and a focus on providing the best possible care to our patients. Extraordinary time management is a <b>must</b> on our fast-paced inpatient units. We have all specialties within our hospital and are currently looking for Licensed Nursing Assistants to join our Inpatient Psych unit and Alternative Care unit.</p><p><b>Current LNA openings are on the following units:</b></p><p>General Surgery - Full time Night & Per Diem</p><p>General Medicine - Part time Night</p><p>Cardiology - Full time/Part time Night and Per diem</p><p>Neurosurgery/Sciences - FT Day</p><p>Mother/Baby - Full time & Part time Day/night</p><p>Orthopedics - Full time Day/Night</p><p>Pre-Op - Full time Day</p><p>PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) - Part Time Day/Eve</p><p>As an LNA at UVMMC you have the opportunity to develop your career through our LNA Advancement Program.
