Overview: <p> </p> Responsibilities: <p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Job Summary</strong> </p><ul><li> Provides age specific patient care and assessment. </li><li> Assists in the maintenance of patient mammography information. </li><li> Performs diagnostic and screening mammography examinations. </li><li> Assists radiologist with mammography procedures. </li></ul><p> <strong>Education</strong> </p><ul><li> Completion of a two or four year program in Radiologic Technology accredited by the American Medical Association </li></ul><p> <strong>Experience</strong> </p><ul><li> One year experience in Radiography, and/or one year experience in Mammography. Stereotactic experience preferred. </li></ul><p> <strong>Licensure/Certification</strong> </p><ul><li> Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
