Join us as a Nuclear Med Tech and experience the benefits and career growth that this world-class academic medical center has to offer - right in the heart of gorgeous Burlington, VT. </b> </p> <p><b><b><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b> </b></b><br> Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist: </p><ul><li><p> Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies. </p></li><li><p> Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed. </p></li><li><p> Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services. </p></li><li><p> Hours - Monday - Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverage </p></li><li><p> Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. More details - Call will be every 12 days. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example - 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in. </p></li></ul> <p><b><b><b>EDUCATION:</b> </b></b></p> <ul><li><p> Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine. </p></li><li><p> Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required. </p></li><li><p> Licensed by either the ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont. </p></li><li><p> This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview. </p></li></ul> <p><b><b><b>EXPERIENCE:</b> </b></b><br> Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred.
