Earn rewards through our PowerZone Employee Recognition Program, and expand your expertise with our Clinicians in Action professional development program. </li></ul> Responsibilities: Our School Based Occupational Therapists serve students with various physical, social-emotional, and developmental challenges, ranging in age from 3-21 years old. <ul><li> Implements treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes to be shared with the school and/or supervisors, as mandated in the student's Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). </li><li> Consults with other professionals (Teachers, SLP, PT, PCP, etc.) on the student's treatment team to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive therapy team. </li><li> Assesses and documents each student's progress through formal and informal tests and measurements. </li><li> Writes and prepares annual review reports and goals for each student in accordance with their IEP dates and requirements, in order to remain in compliance with state guidelines. </li><li> Attends all school related meetings as scheduled, such as, but not limited to, Triennials, Annual Reviews, Domains, Referrals, IEP, and pre-IEP meetings for each individual student. </li><li> Provides screenings and evaluations to determine requirements for skilled occupational therapy </li></ul> intervention relative to the client's level of function within the school environment. This includes, but is not limited to the following areas: ADL (activities of daily living), fine and gross motor skills, strength and range of motion, positioning, adaptive equipment needs, executive function, and self-regulation. <br><br> Qualifications: <ul><li> They must have a Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE </li></ul> standards. <ul><li> They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. </li><li> The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice. </li><li> They must have a current CPR Certification. </li><li> Clinical experience with the pediatric population preferred. </li><li> Effective written and verbal communication skills. </li><li> Effective leadership and client relationship skills. </li><li> Ability to exercise mature judgment with initiative in analyzing and solving problems. </li><li> Maintains professional attitudes and respect for the school and their staff. </li><li> Treats all students with dignity, compassion, empathy and respect. </li><li> Effective organizational skills to manage high volume workloads. </li></ul><br><br> Posted Salary Range: USD $52.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.<img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?3kKUpj4tgEhUSViPBFSmN8Kadhn8eSzyr" width="0" height="0" />
