Position Overview The purpose of the Operations Clerk is to provide essential clerical, administrative and operational support to ensure accurate documentation, efficient workflow, and smooth daily operations across multiple departments. This position is responsible for producing critical reports and flight production paperwork, maintaining organized filing systems, and supporting teams such as culinary, quality assurance, maintenance, and transportation. By managing detailed tasks in a fast paced environment and contributing to special projects, this role helps drive operational accuracy, timely communication, and overall departmental effectiveness. This is a fulltime, non-exempt (hourly pay) position.
  • Work location: Chefs facility located near Houston Intercontinental Airport
  • Work schedule: 5 consecutive work days with 2 consecutive days off. Working mostly Monday-Friday business days but must be flexible to work non-traditional hours if needed including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • We operate 24/7, 365 days per year
What You'll Do
  • Prepare and maintain various reports
  • Produce flight production paperwork
  • Set up and maintain vendor accounts and other items in the system
  • Maintain organized, up to date, and properly labeled files for quick reference
  • Work independently and collaborate with team members on special projects
  • Provide support to multiple departments, including culinary, payroll, quality assurance, and transportation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
What We Look for in a Candidate
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience with basic computer and technical proficiency
  • Bilingual skills preferred (English / Spanish)
  • Ability to frequently move about the office and production floor as required to perform job duties; this role is not working behind a desk all day
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and other Windows-based applications
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, detail oriented environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize business needs
  • Effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational communication skills
