Every day, you'll help create beautiful smiles and contribute to the health and well-being of the community.</p><p></p><p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments</strong>, materials, and equipment.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Prepare patients for surgery</strong>, including applying topical anesthetics and explaining the procedure to help them feel at ease.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Provide "chairside" assistance to the oral surgeon</strong>, anticipating their needs and efficiently passing instruments.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Maintain a clear surgical field</strong> using suction hoses and other equipment.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Monitor patient vital signs</strong> (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate) and anesthesia levels.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Provide patients with detailed post-operative instructions</strong> for managing pain, preventing infection, and promoting healing.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Clean and disinfect the operating room</strong> and instruments after the procedure.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Schedule follow-up appointments</strong> and handle other administrative tasks as needed.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Monitor and replenish</strong> surgical supplies and inventory.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Operate X-ray and 3D scanning equipment</strong> to take and process dental radiographs.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Greeting guests with a smile </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Assisting Oral Surgeons with procedures </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Sterilizing instruments and setting up trays </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Preparing treatment rooms </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Assisting with conscious and iv sedation </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Performing X-rays </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Charting existing and recommended treatments </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Performing other duties as required to support the office and oral surgery team </p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What do you need to have to be a part of our team?</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Active Registered Dental Assistant License </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Current CPR certification </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Minimum of 1 year of specific oral surgery experience </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Must be willing to travel within assigned areas </p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Why You'll Love It Here:</strong></p><p>At Ideal Dental, we're committed to helping you grow professionally, providing you with opportunities to expand your skills, work with cutting-edge technology, and make a lasting impact on your patients.
