Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Days/Weekends/Call
Location:Ann Arbor, Michigan

Call Requirements:Shared Call Coverage: 1:6
General cardiology practice involves echocardiography, stress testing, outpatient cardiac arrhythmia monitoring. Level 2 training in echocardiogram required, special interest in Heart Failure and/or Cardiac MRI preferred but not required.
Inpatient and outpatient general cardiology care and consultations with emphasis on heart failure.
Development and eventual leadership in a community hospital heart failure program; CHF clinic including outpatient heart failure monitoring systems (i.e. Cardiomems, Zoll and device-related heart failure alert systems).
Liaison/co-management between community hospital and advanced heart failure centers for potential LVAD and cardiac transplant patients.
Participation in Pharmacological/Device-related industry supported heart failure research.

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist
Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA license
BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
