The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center (UNMCCC) and the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the UNM School of Medicine, invite applications from physicians or physician scientists with training and expertise in medical oncology and a focused interest in clinical care, clinical and translational research, and clinical trials for patients with breast malignancies.
The successful applicant will participate in the multidisciplinary clinical care of patients and in the design and conduct of cancer clinical trials as a member of the UNMCCC Multidisciplinary Working Group in Breast Malignancies. Advance your academic career in Albuquerque at the only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center within 500 miles, housed in a multimillion-dollar state-of-the-art facility. Participate in clinical and translational research in a nationally recognized academic setting.
UNMCCC is excited to introduce new and expanded services to New Mexico through its current expansion project. This expansion will provide New Mexico with its only MR Linear Accelerator, which will enable real-time imaging during treatment and enhance precision medicine. The project will also feature a new cGMP laboratory to expand our bone marrow transplant and cell-based therapy programs, as well as increased treatment space for theranostics.
