Requirements
Board certified in Hematology & Oncology
Fellowship trained in Hematology & Oncology
Active Iowa license or active IMLC
Must be available full-time Monday Thursday
Prior experience required Highly Preferred
Must be able to perform MUA
Clean malpractice and background

Assignment Details
Inpatient consults only; very infrequent
Hospitalists admit all patients
Responsibilities include consults, follow-up care, and oversight of antineoplastic therapy
APP support: 2
Support staff includes nurses, referral/triage team, lab, social worker, dietician, and front office staff
Services include antineoplastics, phlebotomy, IV IgG, iron therapy, and bone marrow biopsies
4 exam rooms available
On-site imaging, lab, and pharmacy
Daily volume: patients
Average inpatient census: 0 2
Appointment times: minute follow-ups; 60-minute consults
Adult patient population (18+)
