Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift
Pay Range: $76,000 - $96,000 annually (depending on experience and qualifications)
Job Summary
The Pricing Analyst supports PGTI's Product Management organization by analyzing, developing, and maintaining pricing for highly configurable, customer facing products. This role plays a critical part in pricing decisions related to product mix adjustments, regional factors, options and components, margin analysis, and new product introductions.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, self motivated, and detail oriented, with strong Excel skills and a passion for working with numbers. Success in this role requires the ability to manage complex data, adapt to shifting priorities, and learn both the product and the systems that support pricing decisions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Analyze pricing data and develop pricing recommendations in partnership with Product Management and SalesQuantify financial and margin impacts of pricing actions, including product mix, options/components, and regional pricing considerationsMaintain, validate, and enhance pricing matrices and product files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and standardizationResearch competitive products and conduct price comparisons against company offeringsApply cause and effect analysis to determine appropriate pricing outcomes for competitive and internal productsSupport pricing development for new products, product modifications, and pricing rationalization initiativesEnsure pricing models are delivered accurately and on time to support product launches and updatesAnalyze and forecast profit and margin impacts of proposed pricing actionsDesign, develop, and maintain summary reports for pricing changes and requestsIdentify and structure product file data to support grouping, rebates, customer specific pricing, discounting, and profitability measurementParticipate in cross functional meetings to gather requirements and support pricing problem solving initiativesManage multiple projects simultaneously, shifting priorities as business needs changeCommunicate pricing updates clearly to internal stakeholders and support internal education effortsCollaborate closely with Sales on pricing proposals and internal alignmentMaintain accurate documentation and records related to pricing projectsPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications (Must Haves)
3-5 years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, product management, or a related fieldIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (non negotiable), including scenario modeling and pricing matricesHigh proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Access preferred)Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skillsExceptional attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to think strategically while executing tacticallyDemonstrated ability to learn complex products, systems, and processesAbility to logically evaluate complex "what if" scenarios impacting pricing and product configurationStrong project management skills with the ability to work independentlyAbility to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly as business needs changeStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work cross functionally and build effective working relationshipsComfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience pricing highly configurable or customizable productsFamiliarity with the fenestration, manufacturing, or building products industryExposure to ERP systems such as Paradigm, Frontier, or Oracle (not required)What We Offer
