Chair, Department of Clinical Radiation Oncology, Rutgers RWJMS;

CEO of RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group, or designee

Position Summary:

We seek Radiation Oncologist to join a team of highly trained, board-certified radiation specialists, working in a state-of-the-art facility. Position will support a busy clinical practice within the State of New Jersey's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position will support Radiation programs at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospitals in New Brunswick and Hamilton.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to function actively and collegially using an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with a fulsome cancer team to deliver outstanding patient care

Provide appropriate medical evaluation to each patient, including clinical treatment planning, therapeutic simulation, isodose distribution, treatment delivery and management, and provide follow-up care post treatment completion.

Engage in practice-related activities, including program development, growth initiatives, and regular communication with referring physicians.

Collaborate with the care team to include palliative care, psychology, social work, PT, OT, Speech, dietician, nursing, physics, and dosimetry, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in process improvement which drives standard of care across the continuum.

Minimum Education/Specialty, License/Certification:

MD or equivalent

Board eligible/certified

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in treating Head and Neck cancers, GYN cancers, or CNS tumors is desirable.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $400,000 to $550,000 per year.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
