<b> <b>Job Description</b> </b><br><br>Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is currently seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join our team at Saint Luke's Hospital Liver Biliary & Pancreatic Center.<br><br>This clinic supports Hepatology, HPB surgery and GI specialties . As an RN on this team, you will be responsible for working to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices <br><br><b>The Shift:</b><br><br>This is a Monday through Friday 8 hour day shift position. <br><br>Flexible start and end times available.<br><br><b>The Work: </b><br><ul><li>Collects information from patient callers to assess their condition</li><li>Schedules emergent need patient appointments</li><li>Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations over the phone</li><li>Consults physicians about patient care needs </li><li>Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice</li><li>Subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing</li><li>Enters admission orders as directed by provider </li></ul>We are looking for patient centered nurses who are committed to providing a high quality of care. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanor is required at all times.
