In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. <br /><br /></li><li> Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required. <br /><br /></li><li> Licensure/Certification/Registration: <br />- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. <br /> - Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required. </li></ul> What You'll Do: <ul><li> Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, influenza, and respiratory failure </li><li> Perform focused respiratory assessments and intervene early for patients with escalating oxygen and ventilatory needs </li><li> Manage specialized skills including: </li><ul><li> Tracheostomy and ventilated patient care<br />CPAP/BIPAP and heated high-flow oxygen therapy<br />Chest tube management<br />Administration of blood products and select IV drips </li></ul><li> Advanced respiratory assessment and intervention </li><li> Tracheostomy and ventilated patient management </li><li> CPAP/BIPAP & heated high flow oxygen therapy </li><li> Chest tube care and respiratory device management </li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?0ahZeUUznspWjgt9yERVu4hUyJ2YlaUcv" width="0" height="0" />
