<b> <b>Job Description</b> </b><br><br>Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansa City is seeking an upcoming or recent graduate nurse to join our <b>Neuro 2 Unit </b>through our <b>Nurse Residency Program</b>.<br><br><b>Shift: Full Time Nights</b><br><br><b>What We Offer:</b><br><ul><li>Strong mentorship and team collaboration</li><li>Supportive transition from student to RN</li><li>Opportunities for growth within the BJC Health System</li><li>Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits</li></ul><b>About the Unit:</b><br><ul><li>Neuro 2 is a 20 bed unit specializing in complex conditions above the neck- including stroke, spine and select neurosurgical cases.</li><li>Our team provides high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of neurological needs in a s fast-paced, supportive environment.</li></ul><b>About the Nurse Residency Program:</b><br><br>Our comprehensive Nurse Residency Program is designed to set new graduate nurses up for success by pro viding the education, mentorship and clinical support needed to transition confidently into professional practice. Residents received structure training, hands-on learning experiences, and continued professional development through their first year.<br><br>Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.<br><br><b> <b>Job Requirements</b> </b><br><br>Applicable Experience:<br><br>Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)<br><br>Associate Degree - Nursing<br><br><b> <b>Job Details</b> </b><br>Full Time<br><br>Night (United States of America)<br><br><b> The best place to get care.
