JSG is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Newark Airport's redevelopment. This full-time, on-site opportunity is perfect for professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment, working alongside top-tier engineering and construction teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects that make a real impact. In this crucial role, you will analyze blueprints, prepare detailed cost estimates, lead early-stage cost modeling, and collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders. Your expertise will ensure accurate budgeting and cost control for high-profile projects including new air train systems, terminal planning, and landside infrastructure, helping transform one of the region's busiest hubs. Pay $175000/year Required Skills: Minimum 5-7 years of MEP estimating experience, must have aviation projects Strong proficiency in MS Excel, On-Screen takeoff, and SharePoint Solid understanding of cost estimate development, quantity takeoffs, and market pricing Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with infrastructure projects at major airports Familiarity with cost estimating databases and benchmarking Previous experience working with government authorities like the Port Authority of NY/NJ Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or related field, with 5+ years of aviation experience Alternatively, 15+ years of relevant experience without a degree Johnson Service Group, Inc.
