Storage Engineer Job – Commvault, IBM Storage & SAN Specialist

We are hiring an experienced Storage Engineer to join a high-performing IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in enterprise storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery strategies.

As a Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Commvault backup environments (including HyperScale HSX), along with designing and supporting IBM storage systems and Brocade SAN infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring data availability, security, and high performance across mission-critical systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including cloud, security, database, and server engineering, contributing to large-scale storage solutions, system migrations, and infrastructure upgrades with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize enterprise backup systems using Commvault
Design and maintain IBM storage and Fibre Channel SAN environments
Ensure data protection, replication, and disaster recovery readiness
Perform storage upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and ensure system reliability
Requirements
Experience with Commvault, IBM Storage, and SAN technologies
Knowledge of backup, replication, and disaster recovery
Familiarity with VMware, Linux, Windows, and AIX environments
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
