The position is <strong>cross-trained</strong> and licensed to operate <br>shuttle buses and transitions into a driving role only during APM service disruptions, <br>emergencies, planned outages, or other contingency events requiring supplemental <br>transportation.<br>This dual-capacity role ensures continuity of airport operations while upholding LAZ <br>Parking's commitment to safety, professionalism, and a People First service culture.<strong></strong> </p> <p><strong>Principle Job Duties: </strong> </p> <ul><li>Safely operating company vehicles. </li><li>G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time). </li><li>Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable. </li><li>Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity. </li><li>Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver. </li></ul> <p><strong>Requirements: </strong> </p> <ul><li>2 or more years with a California driver's license.<strong></strong> </li><li>Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy. <strong></strong> </li><li>Ability to read, write, and speak English.<strong></strong> </li><li>Valid Commercial Driver's License with proper endorsement(s).<strong></strong> </li><li>Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination. <strong></strong> </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.<strong></strong> </li></ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong> </p> <ul><li>Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs </li><li>Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift. </li><li>Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.) </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. </p> <p><strong>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt</strong> </p> <p>LAZ Parking is an equal-opportunity employer.
