Must reside 50 miles or more from facility to qualify for travel pay

Requirements

Active RRT credential required
Experience managing mechanical ventilators including Dräger and Phillips V60 required
Proficiency with CPAP/BiPAP, Arívo2 Hiflo, and ABG collection/analysis required
Exposure to pulmonary function testing (CPET, DLCO) and metabolic cart testing preferred
Experience supporting bronchoscopy and advanced pulmonary procedures including cryotherapy, cautery, and stent/fiducial placement preferred
Documentation experience with Meditech required
Ability to work assigned schedule and weekends as required by the unit
Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care including ventilator management and noninvasive support (CPAP/BiPAP)
Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpret results to guide therapy
Operate and troubleshoot Hiflo devices and other respiratory equipment used on the unit
Support bronchoscopy and advanced pulmonary procedures when required
Conduct or assist with pulmonary function and metabolic testing as needed
Accurately document patient care in Meditech
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Ensure compliance with facility policies and respiratory care standards
